Aunt Luisa & Carson

Uncle Brad, Carson & Uncle Matt

Papa, Matt & Bradley

Zachary & Jonah and their Border Brownie Sundae. And yes, they ate it all

Uncle David & Carson

These are kinda out of order, but this was Friday. We took Carson out for a birthday dinner (On The Border, of course), shopping, and to see the new transformers movie. I told her when she opened those little eyes on Saturday morning, her birthday was officially over.

The Beginning of Carson's week long Birthday

Her cake at Grandma & Papa Herman's on our trip to Winston-Salem. We were there Mon-Wed and her actual birthday was on Thursday of that week.

While in Winston we enjoyed family time, shopping, and making smores out in the back yard. The kids also had lots of fun playing at the pool at Aunt KK's townhouse. We left and came back to Wilmington late Wednesday night. Carson and I baked her cake late that night and then all day Thursday up until the sleepover we enjoyed the day at the pool with Brooke, Cade, Jaxon, Ella, Uncle Brad and Uncle Matt. As you see, Ella had a great time.
This is the only picture I have from the pool (bad mommy)

Carson's 9th Birthday

This is the beginning of the sleepover on Thursday, Carson's actual birthday. She is 9 now and I can not believe it. Time has gone by sooooo quickly.
Carson was all about chocolate this year. She wanted a dark chocolate cake with chocolate icing, then we added white and dark swirled chocolate chips. She frosted her own cake and helped make it.

We are moving up!!!!

We are spending quite a bit of time this summer trying to get Jonah ready for machine pitch ball. He has played two seasons of tee ball and is ready to move up. He has been doing a fantastic job with his new bat and keeping his eye on the ball.
